Bufo

"Bufo" er latin for tudse, og det latinske navn for en skrubtudse er Bufo bufo.

"Semper bufo" er latin for "altid en tudse", og kommer fra Vinden i Piletræerne af Kenneth Grahame, hvor hr. Tudse (Mister Toad) har det som motto.

Toads and frogs are similar in many ways, but they are not the same. Both belong to the same biological order called Anura, which means they are amphibians. However, they belong to different families within the order Anura.

Tom Bombadil is not a frog.
